Legendary actor James Earl Jones, renowned for his countless movie roles and iconic portrayal as the voice of Darth Vader in the "Star Wars" franchise, has passed away, his representative confirmed to ABC News.

He was 93.

Jones died peacefully on Monday morning at his home in Dutchess County, New York, surrounded by family, according to his longtime agent, Barry McPherson.
